Summary

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce DTC Video Editor who specializes in creating high-converting Facebook and Instagram ads for direct-to-consumer brands. This is not a role for a general video editor. You must understand direct response marketing, consumer psychology, hooks, ad structures, and how to create creatives designed to drive purchases on Meta. Responsibilities Edit high-performing Facebook and Instagram video ads Create multiple ad variations from existing footage Develop strong hooks and pattern interrupts within the first 3 seconds Turn creative briefs into conversion-focused ad creatives Analyze winning ads and recreate successful formats and styles Create UGC-style, testimonial, problem-solution, founder-story, and direct response ad creatives Work closely with our creative team to rapidly test new angles and concepts Continuously improve creatives based on performance feedback AI Experience Required Candidates must have hands-on experience using AI video tools, including: Google Flow Kling 3 Seedance 2 Higgsfield Veo 3.1 You should know how to: Generate AI video scenes from prompts Create AI-driven ad concepts Extend, modify, and enhance footage using AI Combine AI-generated assets with traditional editing workflows Produce complete Meta ad creatives using AI tools Experience with ChatGPT and Claude is highly preferred. Requirements Proven experience creating DTC Meta ads Strong portfolio of Facebook and Instagram ad creatives Deep understanding of Meta advertising creatives Strong understanding of hooks, angles, customer psychology, and direct response marketing Ability to identify and replicate winning ad formats Experience editing UGC-style and native-feeling creatives Strong communication skills Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality Ideal Candidate Understands that performance matters more than flashy editing Knows how to create ads that feel native to the platform Can identify why an ad is likely to convert before it launches Stays up to date with emerging AI creative tools and workflows Understands the difference between content and advertising Bonus Experience Supplements Health & wellness Beauty & skincare Consumer products Subscription offers Direct response ecommerce brands To Apply Please provide: 3-5 Meta ads you have personally edited Examples of AI-generated ads you have created Which AI tools you have the most experience with Your favorite Meta ad currently running and why it works A brief explanation of what makes a Meta ad convert in 2026 This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work available for the right candidate.
