ML/AI Engineer & Technical Lead — Generalist with Team-Building Experience

Overview We’re looking for a Machine Learning & AI specialist who can do more than model work. We need someone who combines deep technical ability with clear English communication, a generalist mindset, and the confidence to help build a software engineering team from the ground up as we scale. This is a strong fit if you enjoy owning problems end to end — from AI/ML strategy and implementation to working across product, infrastructure, and engineering leadership. What You’ll Do - Design, build, and improve ML/AI solutions (models, pipelines, integrations, evaluation, deployment) - Translate business goals into practical AI/ML approaches - Work across the stack when needed — not limited to one narrow role - Help define engineering practices, hiring direction, and team structure as we grow - Take ownership in ambiguous environments and move projects forward independently Required Skills & Experience - Strong expertise in Machine Learning and AI (hands-on, not theoretical only) - Proven experience shipping ML/AI work in real products or projects - Excellent English communication — spoken and written - Comfortable wearing multiple hats: ML engineer, problem solver, technical advisor, and early team builder - Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions - Experience with modern ML/AI tools, frameworks, and best practices How to Apply Applications without a Loom video will not be considered.
