Frontend Engineers

Your role As a Frontend Engineer, you will design and build components of our user interface. We're looking for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in modern JavaScript development and cloud-native engineering practices. You will collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled engineers to build reliable, scalable systems that power our analytics platform. This includes developing performant user interfaces and working with internal and external APIs. This position is an individual contributor reporting to the CTO and is designated remote. What you will do Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your domain of expertise Cultivate and drive best engineering practices across the company Design and develop modern frontend applications using component-based frameworks (React preferred) Build and maintain frontend services and micro-applications in JavaScript Implement and manage automated systems such as scheduled jobs, data processing pipelines, and reporting tasks Participate in architectural discussions and daily engineering collaboration Continually enhance your skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business, and information systems. Required Skills Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and mostly asynchronous work environment (German a plus) Demonstrated capacity to clearly communicate about complex technical and architectural problems and propose thorough iterative solutions Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-termPractical communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers and clear status updates Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution. Perfectly fluent English (at least C1 level) Technical Skills Deep knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and its quirks, plus strong CSS knowledge (including preprocessors like SASS/SCSS/LESS). Deep experience in modern component-based frameworks, with a strong preference for React. Solid understanding of browser behavior, frontend memory management, and performance optimization.
