Freelance Latin American Spanish Translator / Proofreader

As part of our dubbing and audiovisual localization activities, we are looking for a Freelance Latin American Spanish Translator / Proofreader. Responsibilities Translate scripts, dialogues, and audiovisual content into Latin American Spanish. Review, edit, and validate translations to ensure linguistic accuracy and quality. Adapt texts to the cultural and linguistic specificities of Latin American audiences. Ensure terminological consistency, preservation of the original meaning, and natural-sounding dialogue. Collaborate with production, adaptation, and dubbing teams. Requirements Native-level proficiency in Latin American Spanish is mandatory. Excellent command of French and/or English. Experience in translation, proofreading, or audiovisual localization. Strong understanding of the cultural nuances of Latin American markets. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Experience in dubbing, subtitling, or audiovisual adaptation is highly valued. Conditions Freelance / independent contractor position. One-time or recurring assignments depending on project needs. Remote work available. Compensation: $200 per assignment.
