O8 Agency is growing its healthcare practice and we need a B2B healthcare marketing specialist who can hit the ground running. We're not looking for someone to learn on the job — we need proven expertise in healthcare/medtech marketing to serve a growing portfolio of surgical centers, orthopedic groups, health IT platforms, and medical device companies. ABOUT O8 O8 is a B2B digital marketing agency specializing in healthcare, healthtech, higher education, and professional services. We're a fully remote team that moves fast, works collaboratively, and treats every client engagement as a true partnership. Our healthcare practice is expanding quickly — this role has real runway to grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead content strategy and execution for B2B healthcare and healthtech clients (surgical centers, medical device, health IT) - Develop and execute SEO-driven content, thought leadership pieces, and digital campaigns that speak to clinical and administrative decision-makers - Build and manage paid digital campaigns (Google, LinkedIn) targeting healthcare buyer personas - Advise on HIPAA-compliant marketing practices — landing pages, forms, tracking, email workflows - Collaborate with O8's PM and delivery team to translate client goals into actionable marketing plans - Produce and iterate on deliverables across email, SEO, content, and paid — within healthcare compliance guardrails - Report on campaign performance, synthesize insights, and adjust strategy accordingly WHO YOU ARE - 4+ years of B2B digital marketing experience — healthcare, healthtech, or medtech is required (consumer health/wellness does not count) - Deep understanding of healthcare buyer journeys: long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders (clinical, administrative, financial), risk-averse decision-making - Hands-on with content marketing, SEO, and at least one paid channel (Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads) - Working knowledge of HIPAA marketing implications — you know what you can and can't do with tracking pixels, PHI, and retargeting in regulated environments - Strong writer and communicator — can translate clinical/technical topics into compelling marketing copy - Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously in an agency environment - Organized, autonomous, and reliable on deadlines NICE TO HAVE - Experience marketing to surgical centers, orthopedic groups, or medical device companies specifically - Familiarity with healthcare marketing platforms (Salesforce Health Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, or health IT CRMs) - Background in AEO/AI-visibility optimization for healthcare search - Understanding of health IT/SaaS go-to-market (selling to hospital systems, IDNs, or physician groups) WHY O8 - Flexible part-time engagement (5–10 hrs/week) that respects your schedule — real potential to grow as accounts scale - Work with a smart, senior team — no hand-holding, just collaboration - Be the specialist: you'll have dedicated ownership of O8's healthcare vertical, not just one account among dozens - Remote, async-friendly culture with clear expectations and direct access to leadership TO APPLY Please include: (1) 1–2 examples or samples of B2B healthcare marketing work you've led (campaigns, content, paid), (2) a brief note on your experience navigating HIPAA or compliance-adjacent marketing constraints, and (3) a sentence or two on why the healthcare space resonates with you professionally.
