Simple E-commerce Chatbot Prototype

We are looking for someone to build a very small working prototype of an AI e-commerce chatbot. This is a quick MVP-style task focused only on core functionality. - What needs to be built Simple chatbot interface (basic web page) User can type product questions Chatbot responds using an LLM (via OpenAI API or similar) Basic RAG setup using a small mock product dataset (JSON or hardcoded list) System should retrieve relevant product info and include it in responses Chat history displayed in UI - What is NOT needed No authentication No payments or cart system No database setup No deployment requirements No advanced UI design No scalability or production architecture Goal - A working demo that shows: “User asks question → system retrieves product info → LLM generates answer based on it” - Deliverables Working code (frontend + backend or single full-stack app) Simple instructions to run locally Basic explanation of how retrieval is done
