Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant Internal Position: Onboarding Analyst Expected Hours: 40 hours per week Work Location: Fully Remote Hourly Pay: $27 USD per hour ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: Kruze Consulting is a boutique CPA firm that provides accounting, bookkeeping, finance, payroll, and tax services to over 750 startups backed by top tier venture capital funds. The Onboarding Analyst is responsible for executing and managing accounting transformation for up to 10 new Kruze Consulting clients per month. Tasks include systems implementation, process improvement, and standardization of accounting procedures to US GAAP. The analyst ensures a seamless client transition to the Account Manager and Accounting Services Team. NEED TO HAVE/POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience in full-cycle accounting Strong working knowledge of GAAP CPA Firm/multi-client environment SaaS, audit, and technical accounting experience preferred Ability to transform financials to best practices and accrual standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with W9/1099 and W8/1042 processes NICE TO HAVE/POSITION PREFERENCES: CPA license or on track to obtain one WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: New Client Onboarding Clean up client work papers and restructure accounting processes for new clients Set expectations for budget, scope, and deadlines with internal and external teams Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment Technical Systems Demonstrate proficiency in General Ledger platforms (QuickBooks Online, Netsuite) Use expense management tools (Expensify, Abacus, Brex, Ramp) Manage accounts payable platforms (Bill.com, Routable, Airbase) Operate payroll systems (Gusto, Rippling, Trinet, Justworks) Support revenue platforms (Stripe, Paypal, Chargebee) Leverage e-commerce/inventory solutions (Shopify, Zoho) Work with cryptocurrency and Web3 accounting processes About Kruze Consulting: Kruze Consulting provides accounting, bookkeeping, finance, payroll, and tax services to over 750 startups backed by top tier venture capital funds. · Our core values are: Kaizen ∙ Integrity ∙ Collaborative ∙ Caring ∙ Strategic We are a 100% remote company, working in many different countries and time zones; we encourage our employees to take advantage of our flexible work environment to be happier and more productive.
