AI QA Engineer (Full-Time)

This is NOT a consulting or freelance project — this is a long-term, full-time employment position. --- Summary We need a full-time AI QA Engineer (40+ hours/week, fixed monthly salary) to help find defects, design intelligent test cases, and report results for our agentic AI testing platform. This role is focused on deep manual testing expertise COMBINED with heavy AI usage in every aspect of the QA process. This is not a role for someone who occasionally uses AI tools. We need someone who actively leverages AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to write test cases, identify edge cases, analyze results, and improve testing efficiency on a daily basis. --- Key Requirements - Minimum 3 years of manual QA experience (web apps or SaaS) - MUST demonstrate heavy, practical use of AI tools in QA testing (required — not optional) - Deep expertise in exploratory and manual testing methodologies - Ability to write clear, natural language test cases and executive-style QA reports - Experience testing web applications with complex workflows - Must work 40+ hours/week, core hours 9am–2pm MST (US Mountain Standard Time) - No agencies — only full-time individual candidates --- What You Will Do - Perform deep manual and exploratory testing on our agentic AI testing platform - Use AI tools actively to generate, refine, and improve test cases - Leverage AI to identify edge cases and risk areas that traditional testing might miss - Write executive-style defect reports and QA summaries - Create and maintain clear natural language test case libraries - Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams --- Compensation & Working Terms - Fixed monthly salary — no hourly billing, no overtime charges - This is a full-time commitment; no part-time or moonlighting - This is NOT a consulting job — we are looking for a dedicated team member - Payment is fixed per month regardless of hours (as long as you meet the 40+ hours/week commitment) --- ⛔ DO NOT APPLY IF: - You do not use AI tools regularly in your QA work - You cannot commit to full-time US hours (9am–2pm MST core hours) - You are an agency or representing multiple candidates - You are looking for part-time, consulting, or project-based work - You expect overtime pay or hourly billing --- How to Apply Message us on Upwork explaining: 1.
