Fractional Marketing Manager – B2B Engineering & Construction (Australia) About Us Installation Theatrical Engineering (ITE) is Australia's leading specialist theatre engineering company. We design, manufacture, install and maintain stage machinery, rigging systems, curtains, tracks, hoists and associated theatre infrastructure for performing arts centres, schools, universities, community venues and major entertainment facilities. Unlike many competitors, we manufacture many of our own systems and have a network of integration partners throughout Australia and Australasia. We're looking for a proactive marketing professional to help grow our brand, generate opportunities, and position ITE as the industry leader. The Role We are seeking a freelance or fractional Marketing Manager to develop and execute a practical marketing program focused on generating specification opportunities, building industry awareness, strengthening client relationships and supporting business development. This is not a social media-only role. We need someone who can think strategically and deliver outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Case Study Marketing Develop detailed project case studies from completed works Coordinate photography and visual content collection Create email and LinkedIn content from project outcomes Build a library of sales and marketing collateral 2. Thought Leadership & Content Marketing Create LinkedIn content for company leadership Develop technical articles and industry insights Position ITE as a recognised authority in theatre engineering Identify opportunities for industry publications and PR 3. Architect & Consultant Engagement Develop CPD presentations and educational content Create downloadable guides and technical resources Build marketing programs targeting architects, theatre consultants and engineers Assist with webinar and industry education initiatives 4. Specification & Lead Generation Marketing Develop downloadable specification resources Create lead magnets and nurture campaigns 5. Email Marketing & CRM Build and manage segmented email campaigns using Delight AI platform Develop regular client and industry newsletters Improve follow-up and nurturing workflows Create campaigns targeting schools, councils, universities and venue operators 6. Strategic Marketing Planning Develop a practical annual marketing plan Recommend priorities and budgets Track performance and report on outcomes Identify growth opportunities within target sectors Ideal Experience We're looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following: Engineering Construction Architecture Building services Manufacturing Infrastructure Industrial B2B marketing Experience marketing to architects, consultants, builders or government organisations is highly desirable. Deliverables for the First 90 Days We would expect the successful candidate to: Produce a marketing strategy and execution roadmap Create a content calendar Develop at least 3 project case studies Launch a LinkedIn thought leadership program Establish a monthly email marketing program Develop at least one downloadable industry guide or specification resource Engagement Structure Please include: Relevant experience Examples of similar B2B or technical marketing projects Sample case studies or content you have created Your proposed monthly hours and availability Your preferred pricing structure (hourly or retainer) We are looking for a long-term partner who can help grow a highly specialised engineering business and become an extension of our team.
