# Virtual Assistant Data Collection & Organization ## Project Overview I need a detail-oriented virtual assistant to help me compile a comprehensive list of QuickBooks ProAdvisors from their official directory. You'll be responsible for filtering professionals based on specific criteria, extracting their contact information, and organizing everything into a well-structured Google Sheet. ## Key Responsibilities ### 1. **Website Navigation & Filtering** - Access the QuickBooks ProAdvisor directory website - Filter results by location (as specified by me) - Filter by service provided (as specified by me) - Select relevant profiles based on my criteria ### 2. **Data Extraction from Profiles** For each selected ProAdvisor, you will gather the following information: - Full Name - Email Address - Phone Number - Company Name - Facebook Profile URL/Handle - LinkedIn Profile URL - Any other relevant professional information visible on their profile ### 3. **Additional Research** - Conduct Google searches and other online research to locate missing information - Check their company websites and business profiles - Find alternative contact information if primary details are unavailable - Add any relevant details that enhance the profile ### 4. **Organization & Delivery** - Create and maintain an organized Google Sheet with all compiled data - Structure columns clearly (Name, Email, Phone, Company, Facebook, LinkedIn, Location, Services, etc.) - Remove duplicates and ensure data accuracy - Format the sheet professionally and ensure it's easy to sort/filter ## Requirements **Must Have:** - Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry - Ability to follow specific filtering criteria - Comfortable with web research and data gathering - Experience with Google Sheets - Reliable internet connection - Ability to work independently **Nice to Have:** - Experience with web scraping tools (if needed) - Familiarity with CRM or database management - Prior experience with lead generation or data collection - Knowledge of accounting/ProAdvisor services (helpful but not required) ## Deliverables 1. **Completed Google Sheet** containing all ProAdvisor information 2. **Data validation** - ensuring all contact information is current and accurate 3. **Regular updates** - as new profiles are added to the directory (if ongoing) 4. **Clean, organized format** ready for immediate use ## Timeline & Scale - [SPECIFY: Number of profiles to collect] - [SPECIFY: Target completion date] - [SPECIFY: Geographic regions/locations to focus on] ## Communication - Regular check-ins to ensure the data meets your needs - Clear instructions and filtering criteria will be provided upfront - Flexibility to adjust requirements as we progress ## Notes - This is a straightforward data collection and organization project - No coding or technical skills required - If web scraping is needed, we can discuss tools and methods - This could lead to ongoing work for the right candidate --- **If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to help compile high-quality lead data, I'd love to hear from you!** *Please include examples of similar data collection projects you've completed.*
