Summary

This is a dedicated part-time position with up to 20 hours per week. You must be available and online every day from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time. During these hours you will work on-demand — meaning you need to be ready to immediately respond to messages and calls as they come in. You are required to use time tracking with clock in / clock out. Key Requirements: • Excellent spoken and written English — you must speak clearly and professionally on the phone • Comfortable making and receiving phone calls to parents • Very responsive and able to work independently Main Responsibilities: • Answering and making phone calls to parents • Managing daily communications (phone calls, emails, responding to parents and students) • Handling student inquiries and assisting with enrollments/withdrawals • Maintaining the lesson schedule (teacher assignments, rescheduling, cancellations) • Working inside our studio management system (My Music Staff) • Handling billing, invoicing, and following up on payments • Updating student and teacher records • Tracking attendance and lesson completion • Preparing daily or weekly reports for management • Email and SMS marketing • Preparing and sending newsletters or regular communication • Collecting and logging feedback or concerns from parents, students, or teachers • Supporting events (concerts, recitals, open days) • Processing new teacher/admin staff paperwork and onboarding • Managing supplies and ordering materials as needed • Liaising with marketing or social media (posting announcements, updating website/calendar) • General admin and communication tasks Compensation: Starting rate is $8 per hour. This is a long-term role. As you perform well and the school grows, both the weekly hours and your hourly rate will increase.
