YOUTUBE VIDEO EDITOR – LONG-TERM ROLE Authority / Interview Content + Shorts This is a long-term role for a YouTube editor who understands that restraint—not over-editing—is what builds authority. WHAT YOU’LL EDIT Weekly output: - 1 long-form YouTube video (8–18 minutes) 3-5 revisions - 5–7 short-form clips (30–60 seconds, cut from the same footage) 1-3 revisions Each edit includes: - Clean audio (dialogue clarity is critical) - Basic color correction (natural look) - Minimal, intentional text overlays - 3–5 thumbnail frame exports - Organized project files EDITING STYLE: This channel is NOT fast-paced or flashy. We do NOT want: - Speed ramps - Excess transitions - Overuse of effects or music We DO want: - Controlled pacing (no dead space, but not rushed) - Authority-driven tone - Strategic restraint - Silence used intentionally (not dead space) WHO THIS IS FOR You are a strong fit if: - You’ve edited interview, documentary, or educational content - You understand pacing without gimmicks - You can deliver consistently each week - You want long-term, stable work PRIORITY & COMMITMENT: This is not a side slot.
