Social Media Content Creator + Video Editor (Wellness Brand) Part-Time

About the role I run a functional wellness practice for women, focused on gut health, hormones, and root-cause healing. My content lives mostly on Instagram, and it has a clean, editorial, magazine-style look (think Jenna Kutcher or Tonic Site Shop, not loud or salesy). I'm looking for one part-time content creator to take my raw footage and ideas and turn them into finished, ready-to-post content. I handle the strategy and tell you what to make. You make it look and sound great. We grow from there. This starts at 10 to 15 hours a week and can grow as we build momentum together. What you'll do Edit short-form video (the bulk of the work). Turn my raw clips into polished Instagram Reels with captions, clean cuts, text overlays, and good pacing. Design carousels and graphics in Canva using my existing brand kit. The colors, fonts, and style are already set, so you're building inside a system, not starting from scratch. Draft captions in my brand voice (I'll share a short voice guide). I'll do a final pass, so they don't need to be perfect, just close. Cut Story content from longer footage. Schedule and organize posts so my week runs smoothly. What you will NOT do You won't set the strategy or decide what we post. I do that and bring you the plan and footage. You're the maker, not the planner. (This keeps your job simple and clear.) Must-haves Strong short-form video editing (please show real Reels you edited yourself, not an agency reel). Solid Canva design skills. Good written English for captions. Reliable, organized, and easy to communicate with. Nice to have Experience with wellness, health, or beauty brands. Familiarity with scheduling tools and Instagram best practices. Rate Competitive, based on experience, roughly $5 to $8 per hour for 10 to 15 hours a week. Pay and hours can grow as the brand grows.
