GEO / SEO Consultant (Long-Term Fractional Partner)

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a long-term GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and SEO consultant to partner with us across a growing portfolio of AI-focused businesses. The initial focus will be a B2B SaaS platform serving agency owners, with opportunities to expand into additional brands, including an AI consultancy and an AI founder community. This is not a traditional SEO role. We are looking for someone who understands the rapidly evolving intersection of SEO, AI search, LLM visibility, and content distribution, and can help us improve visibility, authority, and lead generation. You will work directly with the founder and collaborate with internal team members and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate execution. RESPONSIBILITIES • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to improve search visibility, traffic, and lead generation. • Increase brand visibility across Google Search, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and emerging AI discovery platforms. • Conduct technical SEO audits and provide recommendations on site architecture, internal linking, structured data/schema, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and GEO-specific optimization opportunities. • Develop and refine content, distribution, and authority-building strategies, including scalable content systems, AI-assisted content workflows, high-intent content opportunities, and backlink acquisition. • Recommend initiatives to strengthen brand trust, authority, and discoverability across both traditional search and AI-powered platforms. • Collaborate with the founder and internal team to prioritize, implement, and review initiatives, providing ongoing recommendations based on expected business impact and performance. REQUIREMENTS • Proven SEO consulting experience with measurable results. • Experience working with B2B SaaS companies. • Strong understanding of technical SEO. • Demonstrated ability to improve rankings, traffic, and lead generation. • Experience building and executing backlink strategies. • Comfortable working alongside AI-assisted content and research workflows. • Strong communication skills and ability to explain priorities clearly. HIGHLY DESIRABLE • GEO / AI search optimization experience. • Understanding of how LLMs discover, cite, and recommend brands. • Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search experiences. • Experience working with agencies, SaaS businesses, or founder-led companies. • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies. SUCCESS METRICS The consultant should help us: • Identify and implement the highest-impact SEO and GEO opportunities. • Improve the technical SEO foundations of our websites. • Increase visibility in both traditional search and AI-powered search experiences. • Build authority through backlinks, brand mentions, and strategic partnerships. • Refine and improve our AI-assisted content strategy. • Drive measurable improvements in qualified organic traffic, rankings, and leads.
