Social Media Executive (Agency Experience Preferred, US Timezone)
Worldwide
About the role We are a fast-moving marketing agency. We're hiring a Social Media Executive to own the daily execution of social media across multiple client accounts. This is a hands-on operations role, not a pure content-design role. You'll be scheduling and publishing, managing engagement and DMs, monitoring account health, and helping grow reach and followers — consistently and with minimal hand-holding. We're looking for someone at an intermediate level for a part-time role (15–20 hrs/week to start), with strong potential to grow into full-time. What you'll do: - Manage daily social media activity across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) - Schedule and publish posts consistently and on time - Engage with followers and communities; manage inboxes and DMs - Drive follows and engagement on client pages - Monitor account activity and flag issues proactively - Support growth in reach, engagement, and followers - Assist with reporting and performance tracking - Review accounts and identify improvement opportunities - Help with light content creation when needed - Communicate clearly and stay organized with the internal team Tools you'll work with: - Project & comms: Slack, Asana, GoHighLevel (GHL) - Content: Canva - Monitoring: social media listening / monitoring tools - Scheduling: standard social scheduling platforms On AI We use AI here, and we want someone who does too — but as a tool to work faster and smarter, not as a replacement for their own thinking. We're looking for someone who uses AI to assist their judgment, not outsource it. If your plan is to run everything through AI and forward the output, this isn't the right fit. We care about your thinking, your ownership, and your eye for detail. What we're looking for: - Intermediate experience managing multiple social accounts — agency experience strongly preferred - Proven engagement and community management experience — not just content posting - Hands-on with the tools above (Slack, Asana, GHL, Canva, listening/scheduling tools) - Smart, judicious use of AI to boost output without losing the human touch - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently - Fast, reliable communicator who takes ownership and follows through - Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities - Available during US business hours (US timezone overlap required) You're probably NOT a fit if: - Your background is mostly graphic design / aesthetics with little engagement work - You need constant follow-up to get things done - You've never managed community interaction or DMs at scale - You rely on AI to do your thinking for you Details: - Part-time, 15–20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow into full-time - Must be available during US business hours - Ongoing / long-term engagement
