Senior Data Scientist — LLM / Agentic AI (Remote, Finance & Insurance "29")

Overview We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a project-based engagement in the Finance & Insurance sector. The role starts ASAP and runs through 31 December 2026, with a volume of approximately 100 person-days. 100% remote. Project language is English. What you'll work on - End-to-end development of ML models and LLM-powered applications, with a focus on RAG architectures and workflow automation - Design and implementation of agentic AI solutions — task decomposition, tool use, memory/state management, multi-agent coordination - Working across the full model stack: classical ML (LightGBM, XGBoost, Scikit-Learn) for structured data and LLMs for generative and unstructured text tasks - Building evaluation frameworks and feedback loops — offline/online testing, regression suites, human-in-the-loop systems - Integrating AI models with internal APIs, databases, and SaaS systems with appropriate access controls - Collaborating with data scientists, platform engineers, and product managers to bring models into production - Client-facing communication: clarifying requirements, aligning on approach, demonstrating prototypes What we're looking for - 3–5 years of hands-on experience taking ML or LLM projects from data preparation to production deployment and monitoring - Expert-level Python; solid software engineering fundamentals (unit testing, type hints, async, packaging) - Practical MLOps experience and understanding of the ML production lifecycle - Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks — PydanticAI (preferred), LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent - CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) - Cloud experience, preferably Azure; practical familiarity with MS AI Foundry and MosaicAI - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an agile environment Engagement details Duration: ASAP – 31 December 2026 Volume: ~100 person-days Location: 100% remote Language: English Nearshore candidates welcome.
