Cybersecurity Business Development & Lead Generation Specialist Xenclavis | Independent Contractor | Performance-Based About the Role Xenclavis is a cybersecurity consultancy specializing in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, API security testing, security audits, and SOC services. We're looking for a Business Development Specialist to identify, engage, and book qualified meetings with organizations that need our services. What You'll Do 1.Identify and research organizations likely to need cybersecurity services 2.Reach out to decision-makers (CTOs, CISOs, IT Directors, founders) through professional channels 3.Qualify prospects against our criteria before booking 4.Schedule discovery meetings between qualified prospects and the Xenclavis team 5.Track and report on outreach and pipeline activity What Counts as a "Qualified Meeting" A meeting only counts toward payment if all of the following are true: 1 The prospect is a real decision-maker or strong influencer (e.g. CTO, CISO, Head of IT, founder/owner) — not a generic inbox or assistant 2.The organization has a credible, expressed need for at least one Xenclavis service (penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, API security testing, security audit, website security review, SOC consulting, or risk assessment) 3.The organization has a plausible budget for professional cybersecurity services (not a pre-revenue side project or unfunded individual) 4.The meeting is confirmed and actually takes place — no-shows and cancellations without rescheduling don't qualify 5.The prospect was not already an existing Xenclavis client, lead, or active conversation at the time of outreach Xenclavis reserves the right to decline payment for meetings that don't meet this bar, with a brief written explanation. Compensation Qualified meeting takes place $50 USD, paid within 3 business days of the meeting Project closed and first payment collected from a client you sourced 15% commission on the value of that first project 1.The 15% commission applies to the first project only with a given client. Renewals, follow-on work, or future projects with the same client are not commissioned under this agreement unless separately negotiated. 2.Commission is paid within 10 business days of Xenclavis receiving payment from the client (not on invoicing — on actual collection). 3.No cap on total earnings. Working Arrangement 1.This is a non-exclusive independent contractor role — you're free to do similar work for other companies. 2.The one restriction: you may not shop the same lead to a competing cybersecurity firm once you've submitted it to Xenclavis. A lead is "claimed" once submitted, for 60 days. 3.Xenclavis will support you with talking points, case studies, and service one-pagers, and a team member will join or be available for discovery calls if helpful. What We're Looking For 1.Experience in lead generation, sales, appointment setting, or business development 2.Strong written and verbal communication 3.Ability to identify and reach actual decision-makers (not just generic outreach) 4.Familiarity with IT/cybersecurity concepts is a plus, not a requirement 5.Self-starter — this is commission-driven, low oversight work What's In It for You 1.Uncapped, performance-based earnings 2.Fast payment on meetings (3 business days) 3.Meaningful commission on closed business 4.Long-term collaboration for strong performers — first right of refusal on future lead-gen retainers
