Website Creation WordPress: Job Posting: WordPress Website Builder (Kadence) About the role We're an agency looking for a long-term WordPress partner to build simple, clean client websites. Work is project-based but recurring — once you've built one for us, the next ones go much faster since you can reuse your base setup and just rebrand. We pay per project, not per hour, so your speed works in your favor. Separately, we're also looking for someone (could be the same person) to handle ongoing website management on a retainer basis. More on that below. Requirements - Solid experience building WordPress sites, preferably with the Kadence theme (Kadence Blocks too) - Comfortable working from provided copy and rough section layouts — we tell you what goes where, you make it look good - Able to build a small library of custom sections (typically a handful) that get reused across the entire site for consistency and speed - Strong eye for design on key sections, especially: - Hero sections that actually land - About sections with proper hierarchy and rhythm - Clean spacing, typography, and mobile responsiveness throughout - Familiar with standard plugins (forms, caching, security, image optimization) - Page speed awareness — this is the one technical metric we care about. Includes image compression where needed, though a good plugin stack should handle most of it automatically - Fast, reliable communication (WhatsApp preferred) - Able to reuse a base build and rebrand efficiently for new clients What we provide - Full website copy (all text written and ready) - Section-by-section outline of how each page should roughly look - Brand assets: logo, colors, fonts, imagery - Hosting and domain already set up (or we'll coordinate) - Reference sites for style direction - SEO and keyword optimization handled in-house — you don't need to worry about it (but see below if you do have SEO chops) Scope per project - Build a simple WordPress site on Kadence, typically 3–10 pages - Most pages are service pages — very similar to each other design-wise, so the per-page effort - drops fast after the first one - Build a handful of reusable custom sections that get applied across the site - Polish the hero and about sections beyond template defaults - Mobile-responsive across all standard breakpoints - Page speed optimized (image compression, sensible plugin choices) - Contact form + standard plugin stack - Hand off with a short walkthrough or Loom - Pricing — project-based, $150 - $400 - First build: higher rate, since you're setting up your reusable base — propose your number - Subsequent builds (rebrand + light redesign of your base): significantly lower, since most of the -work -is swapping branding and adjusting sections - Paid per project — finish faster, keep the same rate - Propose your pricing for both tiers in your application Why work with us - Long-term partnership, not one-offs - Service-page-heavy builds = your speed advantage compounds fast - Your reusable base + reusable section library = your margin - Predictable pipeline of similar builds - Copy and direction always provided — you focus on building - Optional retainer + SEO income on top of build work
