The Setup I run a portfolio of established businesses in Southern California. My strengths are vision, creation, and starting things. My weakness is the day-to-day. I need to create and hand off to a competent professional who can finish. I've stopped fighting that and decided to hire someone whose strengths are exactly where mine aren't. I'll invest the time upfront to train you closely, hand over the full playbook, and make sure you have everything you need. From there, I need you to run with it. We'll work closely — give and take, ebb and flow — and I want this to be a role you genuinely enjoy. The right person stays for years. The Role Document my processes. Watch how I work, capture what's in my head, and turn it into SOPs we can both rely on. Make follow-up phone calls and handle customer outreach on my behalf in a clear, professional voice. Work closely with my existing team. Be the connective tissue between me and the people running our businesses. Set my day. Plan my schedule and protect my focus time. Monitor KPIs and run weekly reviews. Track what matters, flag what's drifting, and report what got done against the goals we set. Manage calendar, inbox, and task follow-ups so nothing falls through. Use Claude Cowork as a force multiplier. Operate independently for several days at a stretch. Who Tends to Do Well in This Role Seasoned EA experience. You've supported a busy executive for several years — this isn't a first job. Sharp, self-directed, and grounded. You prioritize well, stay focused, and bring real judgment to the work. You take pleasure in finishing things. Open loops bother you. Comfortable on the phone — professional, warm, clear. Good with people. You hold the team accountable without making it adversarial. Excellent written and spoken English. Claude Cowork is already part of your toolkit. You build checklists and documentation as a matter of habit. Fluent across Google Workspace, project management tools, and basic automation. My businesses are your priority - If your trying to juggle too many opportunities - please pass on this. You and I will both know if they are not and it ends poorly. English - Spanish fluent bilingual is an excellent value add. What I Provide Hours flex with your output. The role grows as you do. A US phone line, on me. A long-term home for the right person. You will have to work a portion of the US work day - PDT.
