YouTube Video Editor (Basic Editing + SEO + Content Research) — Ongoing Work

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented video editor to produce YouTube videos for a growing small business channel. This engagement will begin with a single-video trial project. Upon successful completion, we intend to transition to an ongoing arrangement of approximately four videos per month. EDITING RESPONSIBILITIES - Basic video editing (no advanced effects required) - Cropping, trimming, and arranging footage - Merging clips with smooth transitions - Adding simple voiceovers where needed - Adjusting pacing and flow for natural viewing - Adding section titles and chapter markers - Maintaining a clean, aesthetic style consistent with small business and lifestyle content CONTENT AND SEO RESPONSIBILITIES - Research content ideas aligned with the channel niche - Suggest strong, clickable video titles - Optimize titles for YouTube search - Write or refine keyword-rich video descriptions - Improve captions for engagement and discoverability IDEAL CANDIDATE - Experience editing YouTube videos (beginner to intermediate level is acceptable) - Understands YouTube retention basics, trends, and titling best practices - Produces clean, simple, and visually cohesive edits - Familiar with small business, lifestyle, or aesthetic content styles (preferred) - Proactive about sharing ideas and suggesting improvements
