Magento E-Commerce Developer for IT hardware distributor

We are looking for an experienced Magento E-Commerce Developer for a e-commerce development project in the IT hardware distribution industry. The project involves setting up and improving a Magento-based e-commerce website with a focus on distributor product feed syncing, product catalogue automation, inventory updates, and pricing integration. Project Scope: Develop and configure Magento e-commerce website features. Set up distributor product feed syncing for IT hardware products. Import and sync product data including SKUs, titles, descriptions, images, pricing, stock levels, categories, and technical specifications. Work with CSV, XML, JSON, API, FTP, or SFTP product feeds. Automate product updates for inventory and pricing. Map distributor categories and product attributes correctly inside Magento. Optimise product pages, filters, search, checkout, and overall catalogue structure. Fix any Magento errors, extension issues, feed syncing problems, or database/catalogue issues. Ensure the final setup is stable, accurate, and easy to manage after project completion. Required Experience: Strong experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce. Proven experience with product feed syncing and distributor integrations. Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Magento backend structure. Experience working with large product catalogues. Ability to manage product data mapping, automation, cron jobs, and API connections. Understanding of IT hardware products such as laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, storage, accessories, and components. Preferred Experience: Previous work with IT hardware distributors, resellers, or B2B e-commerce websites. Experience with distributor feeds from companies like Ingram Micro, TD SYNNEX, D&H, Tech Data, or similar suppliers. Knowledge of B2B pricing, customer groups, bulk ordering, quote requests, and inventory automation.
