Frontend Developer: Polish & Refine an Existing Web App (React + Supabase)

We're looking for a frontend developer with strong debugging and design/interaction skills to help us finish and polish an existing web app. About the project: We're building an early-stage platform that helps people in my country discover events and activities happening around them. The core product is already built backend, and most of the code are done. Much of the codebase was built with AI assistance (Claude). So the first part of this engagement is a code review/audit, we need you to verify the code is secure, well-structured, and sound before building on top of it. tech stack: - React (Next.js), web & mobile-friendly - Supabase (auth + database) - Tailwind CSS What we need help with 1. Code review — confirm the code is secure, well-organized, and there are no major structural issues. 2. Debugging — fix existing bugs and rough edges in how things work (we will send you a list of them) 3. Design & interactivity — the site works but feels very static right now. We want it to feel more interactive, playful, and alive: smooth animations and transitions throughout, better micro interactions, and a few design fixes to make the overall experience more engaging. In short: most of the heavy lifting is done. We need someone who's genuinely good at debugging and at frontend design/motion to make it functional, clean, and fun to use. We're a small project and interested in a long-term collaboration: light ongoing maintenance and future iterations as the product grows.
