A technology-led accounting and advisory firm is seeking a software engineering team to deliver Phase 1 of its 21-phase digital transformation roadmap. Phase 1 will establish the foundation for two connected platforms: Company Portal Workpaper automation and workflows Staff tasks, approvals and operational automation Integration with XPM, Xero and Xero Workpapers AI-assisted workflow capabilities Client Portal (Mobile First) Multi-company client access Secure document upload and storage Messaging and request management WIP, invoices and payment visibility ATO-related visibility where available Key Requirements XPM, Xero, Xero Workpapers and ATO integrations Secure authentication and role-based access Audit logging and document management Scalable architecture for future phases and AI capabilities Deliverables Production-ready Phase 1 platform Working integrations Technical documentation Timeline Proposal Requirements Please provide: Relevant experience and examples Recommended technology stack Proposed architecture and security approach Team structure and estimated timeline Availability for a discovery call Experience with accounting firms, Xero ecosystem integrations and particularly Xero Practice Manager (XPM) is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to established teams of engineers with demonstrated experience delivering secure, scalable business applications. Shortlisted candidates will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before receiving the detailed project specification and Phase 1 technical report.
