Summary

We are looking for someone with WordPress and/or PHP experience and skills in a client facing role. You will assist support our customers who use platforms such as WordPress, PHP and hand-coded websites. Your responsibilities will be: (i) Trouble shoot technical issues for our clients (ii) Handle client onboarding and assist clients with operational issues such as account setup or billing (iii) Troubleshoot technical issues related to website(s), hosting, and email issues (iv) Internal and customer facing documentation This is a flexible, part-time role with a variable workload of approximately 4–15 hours per week. Candidates should be available during US business hours. Candidates geographically closest to Americas will be strongly preferred. If you are applying from elsewhere, please indicate in your proposal that these work hours suit you. Well-suited for freelancers looking for a potential long-term contract. Requirements: Must be available to work in USA (North America) timezone. Ability to communicate in English with native proficiency. Clear professional written communication skills are required as this role is client facing Must have access to a proper computer and ability to setup a dev environment, access to terminal/SSH, git etc. Basic knowledge of web development, HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, WordPress, popular themes/plugins, web hosting platforms / cPanel, domain names, emails, DNS Basic knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce and/or Shopify Basic know-how of digital marketing concepts relevant to web development, such as SEO, indexing Ability to write and understand technical documentation Strong troubleshooting skills
