WordPress Therapist Directory MVP (Directorist / Elementor)

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a lean MVP for a therapist directory website. This is a validation-first project. The objective is to launch quickly, validate demand, and establish a solid foundation for future expansion. We are not looking for a custom SaaS platform at this stage. MVP Scope The website should include: - Searchable therapist directory - Individual therapist profile pages - Structured profile fields, including: - Specialties - Therapy modalities - Certifications - Populations served - Insurance accepted - Location - Virtual and/or in-person availability - Therapist submission form - Admin approval workflow before listings are published - Contact/lead enquiry functionality - SEO-friendly directory structure - Landing pages for cities and therapy modalities - Basic blog setup for future content marketing Out of Scope The following are not required for this MVP: - Appointment booking - Online scheduling - Payments - Reviews - Therapist dashboards - Advanced matching - Provider verification Preferred Stack - WordPress - Directorist (or an equivalent directory plugin with justification) - Elementor (or Bricks if preferred) - Fluent Forms (or equivalent) - Yoast SEO - Minimal custom development unless absolutely necessary Deliverables - Fully functioning WordPress website - Responsive design - Plugin configuration - Directory functionality - Submission workflow - Admin approval process - Basic SEO structure - Documentation for handover Please include in your proposal: 1. This project is intended as Phase 1. If the MVP validates successfully, there is potential for ongoing development, additional features, and long-term maintenance. Existing Assets An initial landing page already exists and was created using Loveable. The expectation is to preserve or recreate its design and messaging within the WordPress implementation where appropriate, rather than starting the website entirely from scratch. Assumptions - WordPress hosting and domain will be available. - Existing landing page assets and content will be provided. - The MVP will prioritize configuration of proven WordPress plugins over custom development.
