Experienced Backend Developer for EU EES Stay Check API

We are looking for an experienced automation developer to build a tool that automatically retrieves a traveler's remaining authorized stay from the official EU Entry/Exit System (EES) website. The application should automate the official EES "Check how long you can stay" service by opening the website, entering the required traveler information, submitting the form, and returning the calculated result. Official page: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/tr/ees/check-how-long-you-can-stay ## Project Scope The tool should: * Open the official EES stay calculator page. * Automatically complete the required form fields (passport number, passport country, travel date, and any other required information). * Submit the request. * Retrieve and parse the returned result. * Return the remaining allowed stay (or other information provided by the official website) through an API or simple web interface. ## Technical Requirements * Experience with browser automation using Playwright (preferred), Puppeteer, or Selenium. * Experience handling JavaScript-heavy websites. * Ability to inspect network requests and determine whether automation should use browser interaction or direct API calls. * Clean, maintainable code. * Error handling and retry logic. * Documentation for setup and deployment. ## Deliverables * Fully functional automation script. * REST API or simple web interface. * Source code. * Installation and deployment instructions. * Basic documentation. ## Notes This project is intended to automate interaction with the official EES website only. We are **not** looking for an implementation of the Schengen 90/180-day calculation algorithm. Instead, the application should retrieve the official result directly from the EES service through browser automation (or official network requests if technically possible).
