Senior Architect for AI-SaaS Build Pipeline

Senior architect: audit + set up a stable, secure build pipeline for our live AI-SaaS We're a fast-growing AI-SaaS in the telephony/voice space for SMBs, based in the Netherlands. We're live in production with paying customers and growing. The system was built quickly (a lot with modern AI tooling) and works well, but we want to make the foundation professional and scalable. We're not looking for a rebuild (but if needed, open to it), but for someone to design and help us set up the ideal setup, building on what already exists. Our two focus areas: 1: A streamlined, secure process for our custom builds. Work (integrations + custom workflows) comes in as tickets and is picked up by builders. We want this stable, repeatable and scalable: a safe environment where a builder can build, test and finish autonomously, with a review gate, automated checks and rollback, so we can easily add more builders. A non-technical CS/project manager should also be able to keep an overview through our central dashboard and steer where needed. 2: Provably safe for our customers (GDPR + security). We process sensitive personal data. We already have security documentation; we want it reviewed for gaps, plus a full GDPR assessment. High-level stack (for context): Next.js/React on Vercel, Node.js + Trigger.dev on Railway, n8n, Supabase/PostgreSQL, Stripe, and various integrations. The voice/calling part is solid and out of scope for this engagement. How we want to start: a scoped, paid audit + design (fixed number of hours) with a written report (findings, prioritized risks, a concrete plan). Based on that we build the setup together, optionally with ongoing maintenance/review. We have a detailed briefing + one-pager we share with the shortlist. Who we're looking for: an experienced full-stack/backend architect with a proven track record in production SaaS, CI/CD and secure build/deploy processes, and a feel for security/GDPR. Clear communication and thinking along matter more to us than the lowest price. A European timezone is preferred (Dutch is a plus).
