Ongoing backend dev for a live SaaS dashboard (React + Supabase)
Worldwide
Supabase backend / integrations specialist for a live SaaS dashboard I need a developer who works independently. We already have an in-house dev team — I'm outsourcing projects to free up my time, so I need someone I don't have to manage step by step. The ideal person takes a brief, scopes the work, asks everything they need to know up front, and then executes without constant back-and-forth. If you need direction at every step, this isn't the right fit. I value someone who handles the edge cases I didn't list, not just the happy path. We run a live analytics and creative-generation dashboard for real customers (React + Supabase). The UI we handle in-house — we need an extra backend/integrations specialist for the harder layer: Postgres schema + migrations, Row-Level Security, edge functions, and third-party API integrations (mostly Meta's Marketing API). This work lives in its own isolated module: - A separate, self-contained repo with its own dev environment. You won't have access to our main dashboard code or to production data — you build against an isolated dev database and expose a clean API our dashboard consumes. - The module uses its own namespaced tables, so you're adding new tables, not editing our existing schema. - Database changes are delivered as versioned migration files and reviewed before they're applied — no direct or manual changes to the database. How we work: - Project-based — fixed price per feature is preferred. I brief with a short Loom + a written spec. - You work on a branch and open a PR. Every backend PR goes through a security review before merge — this is a live, multi-tenant product, so correctness and data isolation matter more than speed. Deliverables for each task: the backend work + automated tests + a short Loom showing it working. We build the production UI in-house, so don't build polished UI — but your work must be verifiable on its own (tests, plus a throwaway test page or example curl/Postman requests if needed). Work is delivered against an agreed API contract. Must-haves: - Strong Supabase: Postgres, RLS policies, edge functions (Deno/TypeScript). - Real experience integrating third-party APIs (OAuth flows, webhooks, Meta API, Stripe, etc.). - Comfortable with a migration-based schema workflow (no direct DB edits). - Security-conscious by default. Clear written English, fast communication. First a small paid trial task, then ongoing project-based work from our roadmap. To apply: start your message with "STATIC" so I know you read this. Then, in 2 sentences: 1. Which projects have you built using external APIs — ideally Meta's own? 2. Why should we hire you — what's your edge? Generic cover letters WILL GET IGNORED.
