We're building **Hope**, an AI Homeownership Coach that helps consumers move forward with confidence while simultaneously coaching real estate professionals, lenders, builders, and enterprise organizations using conversation intelligence. Every conversation becomes a learning event that improves the platform. Our goal is to build the world's leading Conversation Intelligence Platform for homeownership. --- About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled OpenAI Conversation Engineer to become a core member of our product team. This is not a traditional prompt engineering role. You will help design AI behavior, conversation flows, coaching systems, knowledge architecture, and continuous learning experiences. You should enjoy thinking about psychology, consumer behavior, business strategy, product design, and AI—not simply writing prompts. --- Responsibilities * Design GPT conversation flows for multiple AI coaches. * Improve conversation quality and engagement. * Build prompt architectures and constitutional AI instructions. * Create AI coaching experiences for consumers and business professionals. * Design conversation memory strategies. * Improve AI reasoning and follow-up questions. * Help build scalable AI agent systems. * Work with Airtable, Make.com, APIs, and OpenAI. * Collaborate on knowledge base design and AI learning architecture. * Think strategically about how AI can improve businesses through conversation intelligence. --- Ideal Experience * Extensive OpenAI API experience. * GPT-5 prompt engineering. * AI agent architecture. * Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). * Structured outputs. * Function calling. * Conversation design. * User experience (UX). * Product thinking. * Python or JavaScript. * API integrations. * Experience with Make.com or automation platforms is a plus. --- We're Looking For Someone Who... * Thinks like a product designer. * Loves solving complex problems. * Challenges ideas respectfully. * Understands business, not just technology. * Can simplify complicated concepts. * Enjoys experimenting. * Wants to help invent something new. --- What Makes This Different This is not a maintenance project.
