Fixing a PHP script

Summary

Hi, I have a PHP script I am running with cron, but the timeout does not permit the script to run, and also the script is not identifying correct status of URLs. I need someone to fix the URL statuses and update them in db, and run the cron in steps, instead of running it in one go because php.ini does not permit long execution times. Thanks
