## Project: Integrate Phonetastic XML Feed into Existing OpenCart Supplier Sync ### Current setup I already have a working custom integration for the ELKO supplier. The current system includes: * OpenCart 3.0.4.1 * Universal Import / Export Pro * PHP synchronization scripts * automatic cron jobs * category and manufacturer mapping * image import * configurable markup rules * automatic stock and price updates * protection of manually edited descriptions and SEO fields The ELKO integration is already working correctly. ### New task I want to integrate a second supplier: Phonetastic XML feed https://apps.phonetastic.ro/api/download/catalog?token=...&exportType=xml The goal is to integrate this supplier into the existing system, **without rewriting the current ELKO integration**. ### Requirements 1. Parse the Phonetastic XML feed. 2. Import new products into OpenCart. 3. Update stock and prices automatically via cron. 4. Convert EUR prices to RON using a configurable exchange rate. 5. Apply a separate markup configuration for Phonetastic products. 6. Import the main image and additional images (when available). 7. Automatically create manufacturers and categories if they do not exist. 8. Prevent duplicate products using EAN whenever possible. 9. Preserve all manual edits already made inside OpenCart (descriptions, titles, SEO fields). 10. Keep the existing ELKO synchronization working exactly as it is. ### Please tell me * how you would integrate this into the existing project; * whether you would reuse the existing synchronization architecture; * estimated development time; * fixed price. I am NOT looking for a complete rewrite of the current ELKO integration. I want the Phonetastic supplier added to the existing architecture with minimal changes to the current working system.
