Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a senior freelance backend engineer to build the backend of our platform from scratch. This is a 4-week project. The frontend is already being built in Flutter, and we now need someone experienced to design, build, and deploy the full backend system. The backend can be built in any suitable language or framework, but we expect the developer to make strong technical decisions and take ownership of the full backend architecture. Responsibilities include: * Building all required backend APIs from scratch * Setting up cloud hosting and infrastructure * Designing and setting up the database * Setting up file/storage infrastructure * Integrating an authentication provider * Integrating payment gateways * Ensuring the backend is scalable, secure, and well documented * Working closely with the frontend team to connect APIs with the Flutter app Requirements: * Minimum **5 years of backend development experience** * Strong experience building production-grade backend systems * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Supabase, Firebase, or similar * Experience with databases, authentication, storage, and payment integrations * Ability to work independently and take ownership * Good communication and documentation skills Important: We are looking for individual freelancers only.
