Frontend and Mobile Developer (Spain)

We are building Digital Health Applications (DiGAs) used by patients in regulated medical contexts. As a Frontend Developer (React / React Native), you will play a key role in developing high-quality, user-friendly applications that meet strict regulatory and quality standards, including IEC 62304. You’ll work closely with product, medical, QA, and backend teams to translate clinical and product requirements into robust, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces—across web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and React Native Implement user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and reliability Translate product and medical requirements into clean, scalable frontend solutions Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data flows Contribute to a 62304-compliant software lifecycle, including: Traceability between requirements and implementation Documentation and structured code changes Participation in reviews, risk mitigation, and verification activities Write maintainable, well-tested code (unit and integration tests) Support bug fixing, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction Participate in code reviews and help shape frontend architecture and standards Requirements Strong experience with React and React Native Solid understanding of TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and component-based architectures Experience with state management solutions (e.g. Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar) Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling Experience writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Testing Library) Ability to work in a regulated environment or willingness to learn (medical devices, healthcare, or similar) Structured, detail-oriented working style with an appreciation for documentation and quality processes Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (product, medical, QA) Good communication skills in English Nice to Have Experience in digital health, medical devices, or DiGA development Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar standards Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release processes Experience working with design systems or Figma-based workflows What We Offer Meaningful work building products that have a real impact on patient health A technically strong team with a quality-first mindset High ownership and influence on product and technical decisions Flexible working setup (remote-friendly) Competitive salary and long-term growth opportunities
