Remote Sales & Operations Assistant — Full-Time (US Eastern Hours) We are a battery distribution company based in Detroit, Michigan (authorized Interstate Batteries distributor) serving retail, dealer, and fleet customers. We also operate a growing AI voice-technology startup. We're hiring one full-time remote team member to support both — with the primary focus (60%+) on the battery business. Your responsibilities: Sales & Customer Support (primary): - Answer inbound customer calls and messages (pricing, availability, order status) - Make outbound cold calls to fleet companies, repair shops, and dealers in the Detroit area - Follow up on quotes and convert leads into orders - Follow up on unpaid invoices (accounts receivable) professionally Operations & Admin: - Coordinate with suppliers (order confirmations, delivery follow-ups) - Update orders and customer records in our ERP (Odoo — we will train you) - Prepare simple daily reports for management AI Startup Support (secondary, grows over time): - Light admin and testing tasks for our AI voice platform Requirements: - Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent (this is non-negotiable — you will be on the phone with US customers daily) - 2+ years experience in BPO sales, telesales, SDR, or customer service for US clients - Comfortable making cold calls — not afraid of rejection - Reliable computer, headset, and stable internet (backup connection preferred) - Available 9 AM – 5 PM US Eastern Time, Monday–Friday - Organized, self-managed, and honest — you'll work with minimal supervision - Bonus (not required): Spanish or Arabic, Odoo/CRM experience Compensation: - $5–8/hour based on experience ($860–$1,380/month full-time) - Performance commission on new fleet accounts you close - Long-term stable role with growth into account management HOW TO APPLY (applications without this will be rejected): 1.
