📱React Native | Expo Engineer Needed: To Build AI-Powered Consumer Mobile App (iOS + Android)

Hey Upwork Genius Engineers, I'm looking for a talented Full-Stack Mobile Engineer to build the MVP of a consumer mobile application that has already been fully designed in Figma. --------------------------------------------- Please read the entire posting before applying. --------------------------------------------- • What We Already Have: Thankfully this is NOT a project starting from a blank canvas. 😊 We already have: * A polished Figma prototype (30+ mobile screens) * Complete user flows * Clickable prototype * Design system * Product requirements * Screen walkthroughs * Ongoing access to our UI/UX designer for any additional assets or refinements during development Many screens use the same layouts, cards, navigation, and reusable UI components, so there should be a significant amount of reusable code throughout the application. --------------------------------------------- We are looking for someone who knows how to build efficiently. --------------------------------------------- • About the App: Without publicly giving away the complete product concept, this is a modern AI-enabled consumer relationship app designed to help people become more thoughtful, organized, and connected in their personal relationships. The app helps users: * remember important things about the people they care about * organize favorite preferences, gift ideas, and meaningful details * keep track of anniversaries, birthdays, and other important dates * preserve shared memories and experiences * receive thoughtful AI-powered suggestions and reminders * strengthen relationships through small but meaningful actions Long-term, the platform will also support contextual commerce recommendations and partner integrations that naturally connect users with relevant products, services, and experiences. The experience should feel: * premium * elegant * simple * emotionally intelligent * fast * polished This is a consumer product, so UX is just as important as engineering. --------------------------------------------- • Mobile Platforms: This app must be built for BOTH: * iOS (Apple App Store) * Android (Google Play) We strongly prefer a single shared React Native codebase (using Expo) rather than maintaining two completely separate native applications. --------------------------------------------- • Preferred Tech Stack: Experience with the following is highly preferred: * React Native * Expo * TypeScript * Supabase (preferred) or Firebase * PostgreSQL * Stripe * OpenAI API (or similar LLM integrations) * Push Notifications * GitHub * REST APIs If you have strong reasons for recommending alternatives, I'm open to hearing them. --------------------------------------------- • AI-Assisted Development: We encourage developers to use modern AI coding tools to increase development speed and reduce unnecessary manual work.
