Developer for Shopify Inventory Scanning Web Tool

Build a Shopify Barcode Scanning Inventory Tool (MVP) Budget: $500 Fixed Price Project Overview I own a comic book store and am looking for a developer to build a simple MVP (Minimum Viable Product) that integrates with Shopify. The goal is to make inventory intake fast using a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner connected to a Windows PC. This is Phase 1 of a much larger project. If the MVP is successful, I plan to continue working with the same developer on additional paid milestones. Current Workflow When new comics arrive, I want to: Scan the comic's barcode. Scan the storage box's barcode. Click Save. The comic is now assigned to that box in Shopify. That's it. Required Features Connect to the Shopify Admin API. Simple login/authentication for my Shopify store. Page 1: Assign Location Scan comic barcode. Scan box barcode. Save location. Page 2: Find Comic Scan or search by barcode/SKU. Display the assigned box location. Page 3: Move Comic Scan comic. Scan new box. Update the location. Hardware Windows PC USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner (acts like a keyboard) Shopify store Technical Requirements Web application (browser-based; no Windows desktop app required) Clean, simple interface optimized for rapid barcode scanning Shopify Admin API integration Source code provided at project completion Well-organized code with basic setup instructions Nice to Have (Not Required) If time and budget allow, I'd love to discuss: Bulk scanning mode Activity log Audit mode Improved search Better UI These can also be completed as future milestones.
