About the Project: We are building TutorMatch SG, a premium peer-to-peer education marketplace tailored for the Singapore market. The platform blends an Airbnb-style search grid and calendar booking system with an Upwork-style contract engine. To maximize user retention and prevent platform disintermediation (users taking the tutor offline), our application handles all billing, service fees, and escrowed disbursements natively. Additionally, we are building a proprietary Parent Gateway & Progress Dashboard as a value-add retention hook. This tool incentivizes parents to stay on the platform to monitor their child's academic growth metrics, view digital report cards, and track milestone achievements. Scope of Work 1. Escrow Ledger, Fees & Disbursement Engine - Platform Monetization Architecture: Implement dynamic financial calculations to deduct our platform service charge percentage from the parent's payment during checkout. - Escrow Infrastructure: Build a secure transaction layer (via Stripe Connect) where the net tutor fee is held securely in escrow by the platform upon booking a lesson or package milestone. - Disbursement Scheduler: Build an automated or admin-triggered payout mechanism that releases funds to the tutor's connected Singapore bank account only after a lesson is verified or a milestone is completed. 2. Parent Gateway & Student Progress Growth Dashboard (Core Hook) - Kids Report Card & Growth Tracker: Build a dedicated interface for parents to track their child’s academic performance across subjects. - LMS Analytics Components: Construct visual progress charts (using libraries like Recharts or Tremor) allowing tutors to log quiz scores, concept mastery indicators (e.g., "Algebra: 85% Proficient"), and structured qualitative feedback. - Milestone Achievements: Design a module showing completed chapters and lesson streaks, acting as a high-utility student portfolio that keeps parents hooked to the platform monthly. 3.
