Build a Shipping Audit Web App — Late Delivery, Duplicate & Voided Charge Detection

I'm a shipping consultant helping businesses recover money from UPS/FedEx billing errors. I'm looking for an experienced developer to build a clean, functional web-based shipping audit tool for my consulting business. This is Version 1 of what I plan to grow into a full SaaS product, so I'm looking for someone who can build it right from the start. 🔧 What the Tool Needs to Do: Invoice Upload — Import UPS/FedEx invoices via CSV/Excel Late Delivery Detection — Compare actual vs. guaranteed delivery dates and flag refund-eligible shipments Duplicate Charge Detection — Identify the same tracking number billed more than once Voided Shipment Check — Flag shipments that were cancelled but still charged 15-Day Deadline Alerts — Highlight claims approaching the filing deadline Multi-Client Dashboard — Manage multiple client accounts from one login Claim Tracker — Track claim status (Pending / Filed / Approved / Denied) and commissions earned Reporting — Export PDF/Excel summaries per client 📌 Scope (V1): Manual invoice upload only (no API integration yet) Single admin user login Clean, simple UI — functionality over design for now 🎯 Ideal Candidate Has: ✅ Experience building web-based business tools or dashboards ✅ Strong background in data parsing (CSV/Excel processing) ✅ Knowledge of shipping industry operations (UPS/FedEx invoicing, shipping terminology, refund processes) — this is important! ✅ Experience with multi-client / multi-tenant data structures ✅ Ability to deliver clean, maintainable code with documentation 🛠️ Skills Required: Backend: Python / Node.js / PHP (your choice, justify your pick) Frontend: React / Vue.js or similar modern framework Database: MySQL / PostgreSQL File Handling: CSV & Excel parsing Authentication: Secure login system Reporting: PDF & Excel export generation Shipping Knowledge: UPS/FedEx billing, late delivery policies, accessorial charges 📦 Bonus (Nice to Have): Experience with UPS or FedEx APIs (for future phases) Prior work on SaaS or audit-type tools Experience building tools for logistics or freight companies 📩 To Apply, Please Include: Examples of similar tools or dashboards you've built Your proposed tech stack and why Estimated timeline and price (feel free to break it into phases) 4.
