# Senior React Developer (5+ Years) – Real-Time Trading Platform Optimization **********Aplications that only state "I worked on a similar project under NDA" without providing technical details will not be considered.************** ## About the Role We are looking for an experienced **Senior React Developer** to join our engineering team and help evolve an established, production-grade web trading platform used by thousands of active users. Our application is already built and running in production. We are looking for someone who enjoys working on large, complex codebases—improving performance, adding new features, identifying bottlenecks, and resolving challenging production issues. This is **not** a build-from-scratch role. ## Responsibilities * Optimize an existing React production application * Add new features and enhancements * Investigate and fix production bugs * Improve application performance and responsiveness * Identify and eliminate memory leaks * Optimize rendering performance for real-time market data * Improve state management * Reduce unnecessary component re-renders * Improve browser CPU and memory utilization * Debug complex frontend issues * Collaborate closely with backend engineers to improve end-to-end performance * Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code ## Required Experience * Minimum **5 years of professional React development** * Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript * Expert knowledge of React Hooks and modern React architecture * Experience working on large production applications * Experience building or maintaining real-time, data-intensive web applications * Strong understanding of browser memory management * Experience identifying and fixing memory leaks * Experience profiling CPU, memory, and rendering performance * Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills * Experience with Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar state management libraries * Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and WebSockets ## Trading Experience (Strongly Preferred) Candidates with experience in any of the following will receive priority: * Trading platforms * Stock trading systems * Futures or options trading * Forex platforms * Crypto exchanges * Market data applications * Professional charting platforms * Order Management Systems (OMS) * TradingView integrations ## Nice to Have * NATS messaging * Electron desktop applications * AWS * CI/CD pipelines * Chrome DevTools Performance & Memory profiling * Experience optimizing high-frequency streaming applications ## What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems and improving existing software.
