Summary

We're looking for a data engineer who loves teaching. You'll coach CEOs and business owners on databases, data infrastructure, and data strategy, all through the lens of AI-assisted development with tools like Claude Code and Codex. This is a teaching role first, engineering second. ABOUT ME - Co-founder of a leading AI consultancy delivering AI and automation solutions across industries - I run an 80,000+ subscriber YouTube channel (@Mark_Kashef) covering AI, automation, and prompt engineering - Co-founder of an almost 1,400 member community where CEOs and business owners learn to build with AI THE PROBLEM YOU'LL SOLVE Our members can build apps with AI coding tools, but they hit a wall when it comes to data. Real questions from the community: - "When should I use Supabase?" (when the real question is "what kind of database do I even need?") - "Why can't Claude Code just make structured data for me?" - "What's the difference between Postgres and NoSQL, and why should I care?" There's a gap between shipping a prototype and building proper data infrastructure. You'll close that gap. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 1) Coach community members on one-on-one calls. We pay for members to book time with you. You bill us. Start with a few calls per week, grow from there. 2) Teach database fundamentals in plain language. Relational vs NoSQL, when Postgres beats DynamoDB beats MongoDB, what Supabase actually is under the hood, and the tiers of databases from a spreadsheet to a cloud data warehouse. 3) Guide members on data strategy and schema design. Normalization, data modeling, structuring information so their apps and AI workflows don't fall apart at scale. 4) Teach infrastructure with AI in mind. How to use Claude Code, Codex, and similar tools to design, build, and manage data infrastructure, and where AI helps versus where you still need to think like an engineer. 5) Answer questions at every level. From "what's a schema?" to "how do I meet security requirements with a cloud database?" Patience with beginners is essential. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU - Paid coaching calls. We cover member costs, you bill us for your time. - 100% of project opportunities are yours. When members need hands-on data engineering beyond coaching, you keep the full engagement. No commission, no cut. We just want happy members. - Access to almost 1,400 vetted business owners actively building AI solutions. - Content opportunities. If you want to build courses or workshops for the community, there's ongoing paid work beyond coaching. - Enterprise community launching soon. If this goes well, there's a bigger opportunity. - Collaborate on content for an 80K subscriber YouTube channel. IDEAL CANDIDATE - Real data engineering background. You've worked with big data and small data. Pipelines, warehouses, schema design, normalization, and the tradeoffs between database types are second nature. - Broad database fluency. Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Supabase, cloud data warehouses. You can explain when to use each and, more importantly, when not to. - Hands-on with AI coding tools. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar. You use AI to build and manage infrastructure yourself, and you can teach others to navigate it. - Natural teacher. You can explain "what's a database?" to a non-technical founder and debate indexing strategy with a senior dev in the same day. Patience is non-negotiable. - Security aware. You can guide members with real compliance and security requirements toward the right cloud setup. - Fluent English. Strong communication skills. Other languages a bonus. - Flexible timezone. Members are global. IMPORTANT: Teaching comes first. Must be comfortable on camera and video calls. Every explanation should be framed around how AI changes the workflow, because that's how our members build.
