Healthcare+AI Mobile App Development

We are an early-stage health-tech startup building an AI-powered app for people with neurological impairments. Our MVP is live and heading into pilot trials, and we're looking for a reliable part-time developer to help us maintain and grow the app as we scale. The stack is React Native (Expo SDK 54) on the frontend and Python (FastAPI) on the backend, with Firebase (Auth + Firestore) and integrations with OpenAI and ElevenLabs. You'd be working on feature development, bug fixing, UI refinement, performance optimisation, and eventually App Store and Play Store maintenance. We're after someone who writes clean, well-documented code, and can work independently with minimal hand-holding - ideally a final-year student or developer with 1-3 years of experience who has shipped at least one real app to production. This is a part-time ongoing role (~10–15 hours/week to start) with a genuine opportunity to grow with the company.
