About CHoNova CHoNova is digitalizing chocolate manufacturing. Using proprietary ultrasound-based sensing, we enable manufacturers to see what is happening inside their production process in real time and turn data into actionable insights that drive cost savings, productivity gains and quality optimization. We have already equipped multiple brands across 5 countries, and we are now ramping up a software platform to monitor and optimize chocolate production: a decision-support web application that consolidates sensor, process and product data, flags deviations before they become defects, and — as our physics-guided ML roadmap matures — recommends what to change and why. The Role Our current front-end lives in Streamlit. Your mission: architect and build our production-grade web frontend from scratch, using a modern professional stack (React + TypeScript), and turn raw data into an interface that a production manager understands at a glance. What You'll Do · Architect and build a production-grade frontend from scratch, replacing our Streamlit framework with a robust, maintainable React + TypeScript application · Create interactive dashboards for real time data: production monitoring with traffic-light indicators, control charts, reference envelopes with confidence bands, zone-resolved run summaries, and trend views for detachment behaviour, crystallization kinetics and temperature spread · Make statistics intuitive — our platform surfaces statistically rigorous outputs (SPC, repeatability, confidence intervals); your job is to make them readable without a statistics degree · Integrate with our FastAPI back-end and time-series data layer, and implement backend features yourself when needed · Own quality and shipping: CI/CD for the front-end, tested releases, documentation, staging/production discipline Our Stack Python scientific ecosystem feeding the analytics to be visualized Your Experience · Demonstrable experience building real web apps — show us your portfolio: React + TypeScript in production, or serious personal/academic projects · Strong data visualization skills (Plotly, Recharts, D3, or similar), ideally with time-series or scientific data · An eye for UI/UX: you can derive a coherent design system from an existing brand identity and apply it consistently across an application · Ability to ship independently and take ownership of an entire surface area · Comfort in a fast, agile-style environment with short feedback loops · Python / FastAPI proficiency — you can implement backend features when needed Nice to Have: · Understanding of CI/CD for frontend applications · Interest in scientific, industrial or data-heavy applications · Experience with authentication, role-based access, or multi-tenant SaaS · Exposure to manufacturing, IoT or sensor-data products Why Join Us · Real impact, immediately.
