Project Overview: We're building a SaaS platform that monitors Reddit for conversations relevant to a user's product, scores them with AI, and helps the user turn them into leads — think a Reddit-focused alternative to tools like Pulse for Reddit or Redreach. We need a full-stack developer to build the MVP from the ground up. Core Features (MVP Scope) Project setup — users create a "project" with product description, target keywords, subreddits to monitor, and competitor names to track Reddit monitoring engine — background jobs that continuously scan selected subreddits for new posts/comments matching tracked keywords (via Reddit API/PRAW-equivalent) AI relevance scoring — LLM-based scoring (0–100) of each match against the project's product/audience context, with a score boost for competitor mentions Kanban lead pipeline — drag-and-drop board with stages (New → Reviewing → Engaged → Converted → Archived) AI reply suggestions — generate draft replies in multiple tones (e.g. Helpful Expert, Casual Peer, Technical Deep-Dive), one-click copy Competitor tracking — flag and badge posts mentioning tracked competitors Notifications — daily/weekly email digests, real-time alerts for high-scoring leads, weekly performance scorecard email Subscription billing — tiered plans (e.g. Starter/Growth/Professional) gating project count, keyword count, subreddit limits, scan frequency, and team seats Multi-tenant / team support — multiple team members per account on higher tiers Tech Stack (required) Frontend: Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind Database/Backend: Supabase (Postgres, Row Level Security, Edge Functions or cron jobs for scheduled scans) Auth: Clerk Payments: Stripe (subscriptions, usage-gated plan limits, customer portal) AI: OpenAI (or similar) API for relevance scoring and reply generation Reddit API integration for search/monitoring Deliverables - Fully functional web app deployed to production (Vercel or similar) - Clean, documented codebase in a shared GitHub repo - Working Stripe subscription flow with plan-based feature gating - Basic admin/ops visibility into scan jobs and API usage Ideal Candidate Proven experience shipping production SaaS apps with this exact stack (Next.js + Supabase + Clerk + Stripe) Experience with background job scheduling/queues (cron, Edge Functions, or similar) Comfortable integrating third-party/LLM APIs and handling rate limits Can work independently from a scoped feature list with minimal hand-holding Portfolio or GitHub examples required To Apply, please include: - A similar SaaS project you've built with this stack (link if live) - Your approach to handling scheduled Reddit scanning at scale - Estimated timeline and milestone breakdown for the scope above
