Junior QA & Product Validation Engineer
Worldwide
We’re looking for a junior engineer (1–2 years) who will primarily test and validate our applications, document bugs and product ideas clearly, and help with light development work. You’ll work across our product suite—learning tools, admin, marketing, games, and ML-backed services—and need enough technical background to understand how things fit together, not just click through UIs. What you’ll do Test and validate features across our web apps and related services before and after release Reproduce issues, write clear bug reports (steps, expected vs actual, environment, screenshots/logs) Capture product feedback and ideas in structured docs the team can act on Build a working understanding of each product’s flows so you can catch regressions and edge cases Run smoke checks, manual test passes, and help maintain simple test coverage where it already exists Do minor development: small UI fixes, test helpers, docs, and light TypeScript/Python changes under guidance Collaborate with engineers to verify fixes and confirm behavior in staging/production-like environments What we’re looking for Required 1–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, or junior development Comfort reading and navigating a modern web codebase (React / TypeScript preferred) Strong written communication: clear bug reports and idea docs Curiosity and product sense—you want to understand why something works, not only that it fails Basic familiarity with Git, browsers, and debugging UI/API issues Willingness to learn our stack and own quality across multiple apps Nice to have Basic knowledge of data analysis (spreadsheets, simple metrics, reading charts/logs) Exposure to machine learning concepts or Python-based ML/data tooling Experience with Vitest / unit or component testing Familiarity with REST APIs, Postgres, or Go backends Prior work on education, developer tools, or multi-app product suites Our stack (you’ll grow into this) Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite Backend: Go, Postgres ML / data: Python services Tooling: Git, npm workspaces, Railway/deploy pipelines You don’t need to be an expert in all of this on day one. You should be comfortable learning it and using that knowledge to test smarter and contribute small fixes. Who thrives here Someone who’s detail-oriented, communicates clearly, likes finding and explaining problems, and is happy spending most of their time on validation and documentation—with occasional hands-on coding.
