WordPress and Elementor developer with project management experience

We are seeking a skilled WordPress and Elementor Developer who combines strong front-end development expertise with solid project management capabilities. UX/UI design is handled by our design team — your role is focused purely on building. You will take approved designs and turn them into high-quality, fully functional WordPress websites using Elementor, while independently managing project tasks, timelines, and priorities with precision and accountability. Key Responsibilities - Build and develop responsive WordPress websites using Elementor (and Elementor Pro) based on provided UX/UI designs and specifications. - Accurately implement approved designs into clean, functional, and pixel-perfect websites. - Customize themes, create custom templates, and implement advanced Elementor features (dynamic content, theme builder, custom CSS/JS where needed). - Ensure websites are optimized for performance, SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress, plugins, themes, and Elementor. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide progress updates, and deliver projects on time. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously by breaking work into clear tasks, setting realistic deadlines, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate time records. - Document work, maintain organized project files, and communicate status proactively. Required Skills & Experience - Proven hands-on experience developing WordPress websites with Elementor (Elementor Pro experience preferred). - Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices. - Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP. - Experience with website performance optimization, security best practices, and responsive design. - Ability to faithfully implement provided designs without needing to create or redesign the UX/UI. - Demonstrated project task management and timekeeping skills — ability to plan, prioritize, track, and complete work efficiently using task management tools while accurately logging time and meeting deadlines. - Experience managing projects or components of projects end-to-end, including scoping, scheduling, progress tracking, and delivery. - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with additional page builders or custom theme development. Familiarity with SaaS websites built on WordPress ecosystems. - Previous freelance or agency experience managing client projects.
