Senior Full-Stack Developer to Build Hospitality QR Ordering Platform (SaaS)

Senior Full-Stack Developer – Hospitality QR Ordering Platform (Long-Term Opportunity) We own and operate a premium hospitality venue in New Zealand and are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help us build and own our own QR ordering platform. Our current technology stack includes: Lightspeed POS Windcave Payments Loaded Inventory Third-party QR ordering platform (which we intend to replace) Our vision is to build a modern, scalable hospitality platform that delivers a premium customer experience while integrating seamlessly with our existing systems. This is not a simple website project. We are looking for an experienced software developer who enjoys building products and can become a long-term technology partner. Initial Engagement (Paid Discovery Phase) We would like to begin with a paid discovery phase to: Review the available APIs Recommend the best technical architecture Recommend the most suitable technology stack Design the overall application structure Create a development roadmap Provide an estimated timeline and budget for the full build Following this phase, the successful developer will have the opportunity to build the complete platform. The Platform The first version of the platform will allow customers to: Scan a QR code at their table Browse our food and beverage menu Order food and drinks Pay securely online Select their table Leave order notes Receive order confirmations The platform will integrate with: Lightspeed POS Windcave Payment Gateway Loaded Inventory (directly or via Lightspeed where appropriate) Required Experience Please apply only if you have experience with: Full-Stack Web Application Development SaaS Platforms REST API Integrations Payment Gateway Integrations React / Next.js Node.js Database Design Cloud Hosting (AWS or similar) Experience with hospitality software or POS integrations is highly desirable but not essential.
