QuickBooks Online Admin — Ongoing Bookkeeping

We're a Houston-based cloud, data, and AI consulting firm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented QuickBooks Online administrator to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping and keep our financials clean and current Responsibilities 1) Manage QuickBooks Online: categorize transactions, reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly 2) Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding balances 3) Process and track vendor bills and expense reports Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure consistent, accurate categorization 4) Produce monthly financials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) plus per-engagement margin reporting 5) Process subcontractor and vendor bills, 6) Support quarterly and year-end close, coordinating with our CPA/tax preparer 7) Track project-based and client-based income/expenses (class or location tracking) Requirements 3+ years hands-on QuickBooks Online experience Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and GAAP basics Experience with professional services / consulting firm books preferred Excellent attention to detail and consistent monthly cadence Clear written communication and responsiveness QuickBooks Estimated hours: 10–20 hrs/month to start, with room to grow.
