Fix Meta Pixel / Conversions API Tracking Gap

Summary

I run a boat tour business in Krabi, Thailand (krabisunsetcruises.com), and I'm running Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns to drive bookings. I need help diagnosing and fixing a data tracking gap between my Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI). The problem: My Meta Events Manager shows Purchase events are being tracked by my browser-side Pixel (8 purchases in the last 7 days), but the server-side Conversions API is only capturing a fraction of those events (Meta's diagnostics report the server sending 6 fewer events than the pixel over a 7-day period). This is affecting my ad reporting accuracy and likely limiting how well Meta's ad delivery algorithm can optimize toward real bookings. My setup: Website: WordPress, hosted at krabisunsetcruises.com Booking system: Bokun (bookings, checkout, and payment all happen through Bokun's platform) Meta Pixel is already added inside Bokun's settings Meta Business Manager / Ads Manager access will be provided What I need: Audit my current Meta Pixel + Conversions API setup end-to-end (Bokun's tracking settings, Meta Events Manager, and my WordPress site if relevant) Identify exactly why Purchase events aren't being fully covered by CAPI (e.g., missing access token, incomplete event parameters, deduplication key issues — Meta's diagnostics specifically flagged "improving deduplication keys" as a possible fix) Fix the gap so Purchase (and ideally other key events — ViewContent, InitiateCheckout, AddToCart) are reliably sent via both Pixel and CAPI with proper deduplication Improve event match quality if possible (currently showing 6.1/10 — Meta flags this as "Great compared to similar advertisers" but room to improve) Verify the fix using Meta's Test Events tool and confirm event match quality / coverage rate has improved Provide a short written summary of what was wrong and what was changed, in plain language I can understand and refer back to Nice to have: Experience specifically with Bokun's marketing/tracking integrations (not just generic e-commerce platforms) Experience with Meta Conversions API server-side implementations Comfortable explaining technical fixes to a non-technical client
