I'm Nicolette and I'm the founder of Culture with travel, a community blog focused on digging deeper into cultural personal travel experiences and stories.
I'm looking for a virtual assistant who is available a few hours per day (1-2) for a total of 10 hours per week. You must be a fluent English speaker, detail-oriented, and a creative team player. I'm looking for someone who communicates efficiently and reliably, and someone who is upbeat and willing to learn new skills. Also great if you personally enjoy travel, too!
Tasks will include:
- Blog administration: Uploading and formatting blog posts. I will share edited Word documents with you, so all you have to do is upload the copy into a WordPress post. Images should be properly aligned within every post.
- SEO: Optimizing all posts using the WordPress Yoast Plugin. I already have Yoast installed on the blog, so that makes it easier to ensure all posts get optimized, but will need help with optimizing all page content including but not limited to optimizing titles, headings, meta descriptions, keywords, tags, adding image titles and descriptions (alt text) and more.
- Photo editing: editing/resizing of photos in existing posts, as necessary, and SEO optimization of all images on the blog.
-Scheduling content: scheduling content for Twitter and Facebook. I'll get you access to the tools for this and can teach you how to do it.
-Creating lists of fellow bloggers and contacting these bloggers for collaborations and guest posting opportunities.
-Designing creative for social media giveaways on Facebook and Twitter.
-Various other tasks - I will let you know about additional administrative tasks as they come up.
