Build & Design Complete Enchanted Readings Wix Website + E-Commerce Store
I chose to work with Badsha because of his experience and the confidence he gave me that he could complete my website within three days. I made it very clear from the beginning that my Shopify store had been paused and that I urgently needed a fully functioning Wix website to keep my business running.
Unfortunately, that three-day turnaround turned into nearly two weeks, and the most critical part of my website—my customer reviews with client photos—still was not functioning properly. My reviews are my biggest source of credibility and conversion, so not having them displayed correctly has had a direct impact on my business and income.
What disappointed me most was that I found myself doing a significant amount of the work. I was setting up payment gateways, making edits, troubleshooting issues, and strategically trying to find solutions to get the website working. Whenever concerns were raised, I was often told that it was "a Wix issue" or that he would "try" to fix it. Instead of feeling like I had hired an expert to guide the project, I felt like I was left figuring out many of the major components on my own.
I also felt uncomfortable being repeatedly urged to submit payment despite the website not meeting the expectations and deliverables that had originally been promised. The project felt rushed rather than thoughtfully planned and executed.
I don't believe there was malicious intent, and I appreciate the effort that was made. However, the final result did not align with what was promised. I hired someone to help relieve the stress of an already difficult situation, but instead, I am now in the position of having to hire a second freelancer to complete the work correctly. Overall, I left this experience feeling extremely disappointed and let down.
